The College Today
Mount Aloysius College is a rising star among its peers in Pennsylvania with a growing and beautiful campus, exciting new academic programs and spectacular technology permeating the classroom. Yet the same caring and compassionate approach that marked our beginning in 1853 is also very much evident. Mount Aloysius exists for the purpose of making a values-based college education available to students at a reasonable cost. Many of our students would otherwise not be afforded this opportunity. Within a personalized environment, it asks of its faculty a dedication to high quality and versatile teaching. Within the Catholic tradition and the heritage of the Sisters of Mercy, the College believes in the importance of religious, spiritual and moral values as integral to one’s educational experience.
